How To Spa
Whether you're a spa first-timer or veteran spa-savvy guest, we have some tips to ensure your visit with us is stress free and provides value for your money!
Advance booking
It's always advisable to book ahead of time; for spa day packages and busy weekends, at least seven days in advance is recommended.
Advance booking will also help you take advantage of special weekday and weekend pricing that may be available.
Upon Arrival
Please check in at our Spa Lobby Desk at least 1 hour prior to your first scheduled Spa or Salon Service. This will allow time for changing and use of our facilities, including steam room, sauna, whirlpool, shower and pools.
Age Requirements
For your comfort and relaxation, The Spa at Doral Golf Resort & Spa Miami's facial services are avilable for our guests 16 years and older, and all other spa facilities and services are offered to our guests 18 years and older.
Gratuities
For your convenience a 20% service charge will be added to each spa service received. This service charge is dispersed to the staff members who served you during your visit.
Our Cancellation Policy
Unexpected things do happen, and sometimes it's impossible to keep an appointment. Please note however we do require a 24-hours notice for all spa services. Occasionally we can reschedule you for a nominal fee. Group bookings require 4 weeks notice or as per contract.
For Your Comfort and Convenience
During your stay at The Spa, we will provide you a cozy robe and slippers along with a private locker. Your robe and slippers are appropriate attire for anywhere in The Spa, including lunch in the Spa Restaurant and Spa Pool.
What Do I Wear?
The quick answer is: whatever makes you feel most comfortable and relaxed. Most Spa guest wear nothing under their robes. Whatever you choose, our therapists respect your privacy and are trained to keep you properly and modestly covered throughout your treatment.
We'd Like to Know About Any Health Issues
Please advise our staff if you are pregnant, recovering from recent surgery, or have any existing medial concerns.
Please Tell Us!
Be sure to advise of about your preferences. All aspects of treatment can be modified to your taste: amount of light, volume or absence of music, room temperature, and whether or not you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence. If you want the therapist to give you a deep massage, or be gentler, do speak up. Also, feel free to ask questions. Your therapist will enjoy knowing your thoughts and clarifying any issues you may have. If any part of your experience is unsatisfactory, first tell the therapist.
