Originally designed by noted architect Dick Wilson, over the past 20 years the Blue Monster has been modified and updated to meet the demands of the PGA Tour by two-time Doral Champion and hall-of-famer Raymond Floyd and world Renowned golf instructor, Jim McLean. PGA Tour legend Raymond Floyd recently redesigned this course to follow a traditional Florida layout, incorporating gently contoured greens, strategic bunkering and water surrounding 16 holes.
